Continental R1803-BUT-KIT 4kg/h Propane Regulator

37mbar high-capacity propane regulator with 21.8mm LH cylinder connection and 8mm hose nozzle outlet.

The Continental R1803-BUT-KIT is designed for compatible LPG cylinders using a 21.8mm left-hand threaded connection, commonly referred to in the Republic of Ireland as the Irish F-Valve connection.

With a maximum capacity of 4kg/h, it provides the same useful high-flow 37mbar specification associated with the R700E-style POL regulator, but uses the alternative 21.8mm LH cylinder connection rather than UK POL.

Technical Data

21.8mm LH Irish F-Valve Connection

The cylinder-side connection uses a 21.8mm left-hand threaded nut.

This connection is commonly used on compatible Republic of Ireland LPG cylinders and may also be referred to as an Irish F-Valve, 21.8 LH connection or butane-nut style connection.

This regulator does not have a UK POL cylinder connection.

High-Capacity 4kg/h Regulator

The 4kg/h capacity makes this regulator suitable for higher-demand LPG applications where the connected appliance requires a regulated 37mbar propane supply.

The total appliance gas demand must remain within the regulator's rated capacity.

8mm Hose Nozzle Outlet

The outlet is supplied as an 8mm hose nozzle for connection to suitable 8mm internal-diameter LPG hose.

Irish Alternative to the R700E-Style POL Regulator

If you normally use a 37mbar 4kg/h R700E-style regulator but your propane cylinder has an Irish F-Valve rather than UK POL, the R1803-BUT-KIT provides the appropriate 21.8mm LH cylinder connection format.

Please select the regulator by gas type, pressure, capacity and cylinder connection rather than appearance alone.
